Job Description

JDE Senior System Analyst/Software Developer

All around technology person to manage and assist with supporting JD Edwards system including various JDE interfaces and custom developed departmental applications.

Duties

Demonstrate project management abilities by prioritizing, planning, reporting and tracking system development progress.

Designs, develops and modifies application programs such JD Edwards, .Net & SSRS.

Manages and directs third party developers and application support resources, including offshore teams (overflow).

Consults with internal department heads to prioritize, define, design and document end user requirements.

Develops and supports JDE interfaces to banks and software applications (Argus, Sharepoint, CRM, A/P, company website, tenant portal, data warehouse, to name a few).

Provide application support for JDE modules as well as .Net reports.

Assists with rollout and support of new software applications.

Researches product development options and provides analysis for product direction.

Manages the administration and governance of the projects, including development
specifications, approvals, testing documentation and promotion forms.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in MIS or related field

5 to 10 years experience with JD Edwards One World software application and programming:

Property Management, AR, AP, WO & GL modules

Proficient with JDE development tools, business functions and C++

Experience with JD Edwards Property Management module a plus.

3 to 5 years SQL database administration and programming.

Proficient in:

Asp.net web technologies

Programming in .VB, C#, C++

Microsoft SSRS, SSAS, SSIS

Powershell scripts

Ability to work independently

Extensive experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio).

Experience interfacing with Argus Enterprise, Avid, SharePoint, CRM Dynamics a plus.

Excellent knowledge of SDLC and problem management.

Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Excellent interpersonal skills to manage vendors, managed service providers and end users.

Proven ability to manage teams of developers and application support personnel.
