Job Description
The Technical Trainer is responsible for conducting instructor-led classes for new and existing end-users on firm technology in both classroom and virtual environments.
This position will also create classroom materials and videos.
The Trainer reports to the Training Supervisor and is a non-exempt position with regularly scheduled hours of 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, with additional hours as needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead training
Conduct on-demand training, one-on-one sessions in person and remotely
Conduct testing on applications
Create quick reference cards and training videos
Responsible for keeping all training files in the firm's intranet site up to date
Manage Training Department Calendar
Provide individual desk side and telephone support
Troubleshoot and resolve computer software-related issues
Participate in establishing annual team goals and objectives
Conduct training needs analysis on an ongoing basis
Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, college degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Legal experience a plus
Experience designing, developing, and delivering training materials and courses to
support all areas of the firm's technology system
5+ years of technical training on MS Office and proficiency with MS Office 2013
