Job Description
The Application Developer will be responsible for understanding and developing on top of existing platforms for contact center software support applications.
The right candidate will have experience with contact center technology and have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile software methodologies.
Qualifications
Hands on experience working contact center hardware and software (e.g. Genesys,)
Strong hands on experience in Java Development
Demonstrated knowledge of software development lifecycle, including financial management, agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
Design, develop, implement and support optimal routing and custom solutions using one or more vendors.
Deep knowledge of current technologies including Open Source, J2EE (JSP, Servlet, JSP, etc.), web application development, web services (REST/SOAP/XML), Rich Internet
Applications, messaging infrastructures and databases.
Preferred
Platform knowledge of:
Open Standards specific to contact centers such as VXML, MRCP, GRXML, SIP
Skills Based Routing / Intelligent Routing
Contact Center Reporting
Omni Channel communication (Text, Email, Voice, Social Media)
Familiar with integration to Contact Center Infrastructure and capabilities such as:
Call Recording (NICE, Verint)
Avaya (Session Manager, Communication Manager and Application Enablement Service)
WFM (Aspect/Verint)
IVR
Own and be accountable for a mission critical application that drives client and stakeholder value in the contact center space
Experience developing and implementing solutions using WebRTC.
