Job Description

Business

Supports the implementation of the IT Strategic plan

Supports management of global IT finance function

Supports IT Management's forecast of capital and operating spend

Guides budget analysis by enforcing IT policies and procedures, reviewing for accuracy and completeness, and recommending action

Report and communicate IT spend justification to fund projects and expenditures

Gather and organize financial data and analyze results

Identifies financial status by analyzing budget to actual variances and effectively communicate results to Management

Maintain IT asset data base and report on asset values, depreciation, and forecast

Analyze and support IT allocations to regions

Agility and Innovation

Works to ensure the right mechanisms are in place to analyze opportunities for cost savings, efficiencies, and improvements

Assist managers in analyzing the proposed plan and find alternatives if the projected results are unsatisfactory

Works to increase productivity by developing automated controls and procedures

Relationships and People

Effectively communicate IT processes and procedures with management

Build and maintain relations with project managers to develop the IT budget

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; and CPA or CMA preferred

Must have 2-years plus of financial analysis experience

Strong analytical and business acumen

Must have a working knowledge of balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, working capital analysis and US GAAP

Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions

Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with financial reporting tools and software, including SAP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of management
