Job Description

I. Basic Functions:

The position as Web Developer is responsible for analyzing, designing and testing ASP.net applications. Guide and mentor a team of developers in architecting Microsoft Solutions. Reports to and communicates well with the Manager, Applications Development.

II. Responsibilities and Authorities:

Ensures quality of software application changes.

Responsible for software application development projects and ensuring that project tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Architect and deliver applications and systems based on .NET framework.

Design applications per user requirements.

Architect solutions in an n-Tier environment.

Identify code support issues, action resolutions and provide technical assistance for applications

Ability to interact with Information Systems personnel and customers to analyze and convert business requirements into flexible applications.

Requires team lead and mentoring experience.

Other duties as assigned.

III. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent in experience.

Three (3) or more years' experience in .NET development.

Background in Microsoft .NET development using VB.NET, SQL Server 2000/2005.

Experience with ASP.NET.

Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem solving skills and the ability to drive issues to resolution.

Attention to detail, a strong ability to relate to customers, and ability to be a team player are required.
