Job Description

Senior .Net Developer

6+ Month Contract to hire ($95-$115k/year upon conversion)

Eden Prairie, MN

Position Summary:

Perform software development for the most critical aspects of software applications

Improve quality metrics through process automation and unit testing

Research support issues, business requests, and potential solutions

May assist in production issue resolution and on call duties

Assist in developing and improving procedures, standards, and best practices

May review team’s work products for quality and adherence to standards

Create and maintain documentation to support the full Application Development Lifecycle

May assist in mentoring less experienced developers

Participate in daily scrum, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree, with a technology emphasis or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in the IT industry in the area of application development

3+ years of experience in .NET application architecture/design

Advanced proficiency with the following technologies: .NET web applications, C# & Visual
Basic .NET, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS, SQL Server, IIS, Visual Studio

Expertise with designing XML APIs, Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture, REST

Expertise with mocking frameworks, automated build & unit testing, Team Foundation System

Experience with scaling and performance tuning of web applications

Experience with internationalization of web sites and payment processing

Experience with ADA requirements for website design

Understands physical deployment of software across multiple tiers and network topologies.

Experience with industry standard information protection, data security guidelines,
secure coding techniques & best practices (i.e. PCI, SOX, OWASP)

Experience with mobile development and responsive design

Layer 7 experience a plus
