Job Description

Python Developer

The Python developer will collaborate and in the design, creation, testing, and support multiple business-critical applications.

The Python Developer is for an individual who wishes to be an integral part of the IT department, seeking to increase their understanding of the business needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop work plan and time schedules for computing projects including outlining phases and identifying personnel and computing equipment requirements

Make recommendations based on the evaluation of software products and programming languages for their applicability to the system and/or project

Make coding design decisions

Create and evaluate test plans

Review, modify, and/or write programs

Program modifications and applications as needed

Write documentation of system procedures and guidelines for application users

Answer questions and provide technical guidance and/or training to application users to ensure the success of an application

Coordinate the review and analysis of software documentation and production results to
facilitate problem resolution

Ensure consistency with design documentation

Participate in the development of system and program standards

Complete reports and summaries for management and/or user including status reports,
problem reports, progress summaries, and system utilization reports

Coordinate the technical activities of a project team

Foster laboratory teamwork, cooperation, professional standards, and communications while providing excellent customer service to stakeholders

All work will be performed in accordance with validated test methods, SOPS, procedures,
employee training and proficiency, and equipment standards, as applicable

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

One year of experience may substitute for one year of education.

2-5 years’ experience as a software applications developer

Experience in database management, systems analysis, software design, computer programming, and documentation for a medium to large size enterprise

Python, C/C++, Java

HTML/CSS3, JavaScript

SQL

Experience using Panda Library

Desired:

Web application development experience in medium to large Enterprise environment,
Full/Partial Stack Frameworks and MVCs

Data storage systems: Oracle RDBMS, Postgresql, MSSQL, and NoSQL.
