IT QUALITY ASSURANCE DIRECTOR

We are hiring for an IT Quality Assurance/Quality Control Director whose primary responsibility will be to oversee the global Quality Control team and manage day to day activities for multiple global testing centers.

The Quality Control Director must be able to travel internationally to India, UK and potentially Australia.

This position reports directly to the SVP, Quality Control and will be based out of Frisco.

Responsibilities:

Establish, improve and oversee current workflow, processes, rigor and measured metrics.

Work closely with PMO, development teams and IT and business stakeholders in prioritizing projects and resources allocation based on business needs and demands

Manage and monitor multiple global testing teams.

Manage offshore resources and movement of offshore team to onshore testing centers based on project needs.

Manage and track project status and resources in QC project queue.

Oversee the execution and documentation of comprehensive testing strategies estimates, environment set up, functional, integrations, regression, UAT and release and certification of testing.

Manage and continue to improve on established the test frameworks, test reporting, testing tools and processes and procedures

Management, tracking and reporting for defects and break/cycle fix

Manage QC infrastructure and UAT environments including ATMs testing facilities based on regional requirements.

Mentor and provide leadership on testing methodologies and procedures

Identify internal resource or new FTE to work as SMEs and work closely with offshore team

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Business Administration from accredited institution with emphasis in
Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or advance degree preferred.

8+ years' experience in quality assurance or control, software testing and ATM testing.

3+ years' of IT QA management experience including management of offshore testing teams.

Manage day to day quality control activities, project management, workforce planning, training and budgeting.

Assist in managing budget department and approval of expenses

Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects

Experience with automation testing.

Oversee daily operations of global quality control centers

Oversee all certification of software

Knowledge and understanding of testing methodologies and able to manage and implement new processes

Knowledge of SDLC and software testing cycles.

Experience in Debit/Credit processing and ATM processing.
