Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the design, development and creation of new web based applications and the enhancement and maintenance of existing content and business systems.

These applications may be stand alone or web-based systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Serve as the primary resource for the updating of content on public Internet and private intranet sites.

This includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance and updating of existing textual content and images and the creation of new content and images.

Assist with the troubleshooting and maintenance of current web-based applications and web servers.

The candidate should be able to identify and correct application or web server errors as well as suggest and implement coding and process improvements to existing applications and Internet server configurations.

Work closely with business partners and end users on the vision, creation and implementation of new business solutions.

Use excellent planning and organization skills to achieve desired results.

May participate on projects and be required to coordinate the application development efforts and meet all project deadlines within project constraints.

Engage multiple concurrently running projects

Additional duties as required, including but not limited to backing up/assisting colleagues.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Degree in Computer Science or MIS required or non-degreed individuals with 1-2 years demonstrated experience in the area of Internet and application development with company-employed technologies may also be considered.

1-2+ years of experience in application development and company-employed Internet technologies preferred.

Microsoft Visual Studio

MS SQL Server

Basic knowledge of Database concepts
