Oracle Database Administrator

Greenwood Village, CO

6-12 Month Contract

Job Duties:

- Install, upgrade, configure and migrate Oracle database software on Linux operating systems

- Manage Oracle Instance and Database

- Administer users and security.

- Manage backup, recovery and migration of the databases.

- Manage table space and perform capacity planning following documented procedures.

- Ensures database server topology, configuration, and maintenance are designed and executed

to meet SLA objectives

- Identify the risks involved in upgrading or not upgrading Oracle Database / EPM / OBIEE suite

and appropriately communicate addressing the impact to business.

- Provide end to end responsibilities for databases installations including being responsible for

implementing complex database architecture including redundancy, disaster recovery, sizing,

scalability, monitoring and production support.

- Drive critical production issues to resolution, including root cause analysis and solution.

- Tasks might involve out of the box thinking and application of skills and experience

- Perform performance tuning and optimization following documented procedures.
