TECHNICAL MANAGER - APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

Dallas, TX

The Position:

This is a contract to hire position for a Technical Manager within our Client's
Application Development team.

The ideal candidate will still be hands on in code but have experience leading/mentoring Agile development teams.

Additionally, the Technical Manager must have experience successfully delivering web and mobile applications.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to advance their career in both development and leadership.

Responsibilities:

Develop quick prototypes for spike or loose design story.

Lead, monitor and report on the scrum process end to end.

Lead the team technically helping them with design, architecture, estimation, and coding.

Balance Agile leadership and Technical leadership of the team to help them build and deliver solutions more efficiently with high quality.

Lead, mentor & coach an excellent group of young and passionate developers.

Work closely with the Product Owners and other stakeholders in defining product look and feel, design and roadmap.

Requirements:

6+ years of software development experience in a professional setting

2-3 years of experience in a leadership role as a Tech Lead and/or Scrum Master.

Scrum Master certification is highly desired as you will play the role of the Scrum
Master for your team.

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Full stack development experience in the following technologies

Angular.JS or ReactJS

Python

PHP, MySQL and WordPress are nice to have.

Test driven development

AWS
