Pre-Sales Architect

Denver/DTC

$175K-$225K

Pre-Sales Architect/Enterprise Solutions Architect needed to assist in designing and defining enterprise level architectural solutions for the end client.

Open to out of state candidates who are looking to make sunny Colorado your home.

The vast majority of the work will be in the Denver and/or the Denver Tech Center.

Job Responsibilities:

- Aligns with Outside Sales team to represent the Data Center (Storage, Servers, Virtualization, Backups, Fabric, etc.) expertise to all assigned accounts.

- Uses knowledge of technology, products and services to build Data Center, Storage and LAN/WAN solutions for the customer.

- Responsible for designing and proposing Architectural Design recommendations and decisions at the enterprise level

- Develops and fosters relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and key business partners to achieve end customer goals

- Assists in statement of work review and development.

- Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer.

- Assists with accounts within assigned CO territory

Qualifications:

- Strong technical leadership skills.

- Excellent communication, presentation skills and interpersonal skills.

- 5 years of technical enterprise architecture experience.

- Experience with technical pre-sales.

- Must have passion driving storage/server/virtualization solution strategies.

- Strong personality with leadership skills working in a complex matrix organization.

- Strong presence and credibility to be proven at client site and internally.

- Knowledge of the technical aspects of storage, server, backup and virtualization hardware, software and architecture(s).

Preferred:

- CCIE

- Experience managing a company network

- Understanding of EMC's, NetApp's, Client's, Sun's & VMware's configuration and quoting tools

- EMC, NetApp, Sun, Client TSG and/or VMware certifications

- Other SAN certifications
