Designs and installs LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, and network segments

Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems

Install and maintain network hardware and software; Analyze and isolate issues

Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users

Evaluate and modify system's performance

Identify user needs

Determine network and system requirements

Maintain integrity of the network and security

Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations

Perform network address assignment

Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration

Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services

Maintain network servers/appliances such as special purpose servers, VPN gateways,
intrusion detection systems

Administer routers, switches, firewalls, phones (VOIP), network related software deployment, security updates and patches

Minimum Requirements
:

Basic Knowledge of SCM (Supply Chain Mgmt), Risk Management & Change Mgmt

Passion for successful business operations

Communication and collaboration skills for both business and ISD teams (e.g., intentional listening & new proposals)

Project management and SDLC (Solution Life Cycle Development) skills to deliver project goals and objectives

Education & Training: Networking & Firewall Admin & Solution Development training and 2-year college degree

Cisco Certified

Network hardware: Cisco routers, Nexus 3000, Cisco switches (catalyst series), Cisco ASA,
Cisco IP phones, Cisco IOS, Windows OS, Linux

Routing protocols: OSPF, IGRP, IS-IS, Routed protocols: IP, IPv6.

LAN/WAN technologies: Ether channel, VTP, STP, Load balancing, capwap

Traffic security using Standard/Extended access-list, distribute lists and route maps.

SNMP, HSRP, DHCP, DNS, NTP

Wireless Access Points, devices, WLC

VPN Setup and Troubleshooting; IPsec VPN site-to-site and Anyconnect

Preference: SD WAN experience – Talari; Routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP; MCP
