SENIOR SQL DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER

We are hiring for a Senior SQL Developer with data warehouse experience to help develop and facilitate the construction of a federal data repository with current and historical views for the infrastructure estate management group.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in SQL and data warehouse development. Qlikview experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate in the construction of a global estate management data repository that will used for daily, weekly, monthly, and program specific reporting

Write and maintain stored procedures and functions using T-SQL and SSMS

Design, develop, and execute ETL packages to convert client data using stored procedures, functions, and SQL scripts in a Microsoft SQL Server environment

Perform data analysis to identify data patterns and anomalies

Develop and modify stored procedures and T-SQL scripts in response to validation exceptions

Perform SQL Server administration activities (backup, restore, DBCC commands, indexing, shrink)

Requirements:

Extensive (7+ years) experience in SQL, SSMS, SSIS, and SSAS

Advanced Microsoft SQL knowledge

Standard office automation products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong organization and planning skills

Strong problem-solving skills and analytical approach

Must be a strong team-player and collaborator

Soild understanding of temporal database techniques

Knowledge of database theory and database design

Knowledge of distributed, storage, and backup environments

QlikView experience is preferred
