Job Description

FULLSTACK WEB DEVELOPER

The Web Developer will be responsible for the design, development, programming and support of software applications.

This position will be responsible for creating, modifying and maintaining core Internet, Extranet and Intranet environment structures and pages.

The candidate will also be responsible for additional tasks including application development, configuration, analysis and web development that drives the business.

Project roles require a lead development responsibility for small projects working with business requestors and participation in larger projects with a project manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs website full stack web design and development

Advanced experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON and XML

Agile project experience

Create, edit and distribute various web applications as required using development tools
Visual Studio, IIS, ASP.NET, C#, jQuery and Java Script

Evaluates business requirements followed by the design, implementation and configuration
of web parts across multiple browsers

Writes and maintains appropriate documentation to describe program development, logic, utilizing coding library and repository tools for revisions

Drives the testing process through test review and analysis and validation

Performs database administration in support of ERP and Microsoft SQL Server as it relates to the applications

Develops and maintains stages for workflow including Development/Staging/Production supporting code, data and content versioning

Integration with in-house systems and external Ecommerce, Financial / Pricing data and other business information systems

Performs evaluation and development of new software applications

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in a related area of study

3+ years of full-stack Web Development

Solid skills in web development, UI graphic design, and intuitive layout

Fluent in coding HTML5 / CSS3 / Javascript / jQuery Bootstrap responsive development

Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining web-based applications using tools such as Visual Studio, C# and SQL Server

Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming in an open systems architecture

Firm understanding of Internet and web services including XHTML, WSDL,XSD, XML,XSLT

Excellent written and verbal communication and troubleshooting skills

Ability to understand and follow a Creative Brief and client's verbal requests

Ability to translate brand and project objectives in response-oriented designs

Experience in development tools, administration, configuration and installation of web parts and various 3rd party add-ins

Experience creating, maintaining and troubleshooting Intranet sites and portals

Experience with integrating external APIs supporting E-Commerce and Social Media requirements

Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally

Strong attention to detail with exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills

Strong work ethic and self starter

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and/or weekends as necessary

Applicable knowledge of and experience with interfacing with mid-tier ERP systems preferred

Applicable knowledge of and experience with mobile web development preferred

Working knowledge of Internet security, firewalls and protocols preferred

Applicable knowledge of reports using SQL Reporting Services and other report writers preferred
