Job Description

General Responsibilities:

Lead Internal Audit and consulting engagements at multiple clients.

Perform annual audit risk assessments at clients, using firm's methodology at the audit engagements.

Lead financial, operational and compliance audits at various clients, ensuring quality of work in accordance with guidelines and processes.

Ensure timely deliverables of all audit related documents, including risk assessments, audit manual, audit reports, follow-up reports, etc.

Ensure delivery of clear and concise reports and other deliverables to clients and their regulators.

Manage relationship with existing clients.

Attend meetings with clients, including Audit Committee meetings.

Perform other non-audit engagements, as assigned.

Keep abreast of the regulatory guidelines, industry developments and market changes.

Validate corrective actions to address findings and recommendations in various internal audits and regulatory examination reports at the clients and maintain related follow-up matrices.

Assist in Business Development through generating leads for new opportunities and support the Managing Director in growing the practice.

Coach and mentor staff.

Qualifications:

15 years of professional services experience related to banking industry and/or regulatory agency in USA, of which at least 8 years should be in managing internal audit or leading bank examinations in US (community banking experience preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Candidates must have relevant work experience in Client auditing

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple audits or engagements

Ability to interpret the impact and requirements of new laws and regulations

Professional Certifications such as CIA, CFE, CRCM, CAMS, CFSA, CPA, etc. preferred

Experience in international bank, regulatory agency or a Big 4 firm is a plus

Knowledge of BSA/AML and bank regulatory compliance

Ability to commute to multiple client locations and availability for up to 20% overnight travel as needed
