SAP Data Service Consultant BODS, DW, ETL

6+ month contract

Minneapolis St Paul, MN

This person will be working on the Data Services project. This will develop a SAP extractor based SAP data service solution.

Requirements:

5+ years of SAP

Recent hands on experience with SAP Data Services

SAP BODS

Implement and manage the enterprise-wide Data Warehouse solutions.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of SAP-BW & SAP Data Service data design, logical data
modeling and the technical solutions.

In depth understanding of BW extractors. Master data model etc.

Extensive experience in:

Extensive knowledge on creating custom extractor using all options of custom extraction creation

Experienced with ABAP coding for function modules, update routine, start routine etc.

Experienced with process chains creation, info package group, creation of event and event chains in BW.

Experienced with extraction of data from different source systems

Extensive knowledge of R/3 data source and data extractor with different extraction mechanism

Extractor enhancement, using the extractor exit, testing and debugging of extractor, development of custom extractor.

Experienced with configurations to enhance data load performance during data extraction to BW.

Worked on Analysis process designer (APD) & Open Hubs (OH)

Extensive knowledge performance Optimization techniques.

Developed/designed multiple solution on SAP Data Service 4.0 (SAP Business Object Data Service)

Worked with SAP & Non-SAP as source & target on SAP Data Service 4.0 & above

Worked with scheduling SAP Data Service jobs throw scheduler like UC4 (Atomic)

Must have experience with SAP Data Service & BW transport mechanism

Worked on SAP Data Service on HANA database.
