Job Description

QA Lead will run the quality assurance group at a financial firm and all quality aspects of the SDLC.

The QA lead will be integral part of the quality and development processes and will identify process and product improvements.

QA Lead will be responsible for ensuring for successful product operation, performance, quality and software delivery standards. Excellent communication is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead manual and automated testing of our product portfolio including the development and execution of test plans and cases

Work alongside with agile teams and product owners to deliver a high-quality product to our customers

Optimize our current software quality assurance methodology and create the underlying testing strategy and approach

Implement continuous integration and deployment capabilities into our software development life cycle.

Mentor and coach quality assurance team in unison with our DevOps lead, manage team's release cadence and approach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS/BA in computer science, engineering or related discipline desired

5+ years hands on experience in quality assurance roles in all facets of functional, regression and automated testing

Excellent communication and analytical skills

Previous team leadership experience preferred

Deep experience with Agile SDLC and using Microsoft TFS ALM system

Deep experience with QA in data intensive applications including data management and analytics

Hands on experience with automation framework development and deep experience with Selenium

Must have the desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality

Hands on experience with coding and design along with knowledge of SQL Server and Azure is a plus
