SOFTWARE ENGINEER CONSULTANT

We are hiring for a Fullstack Development Consultant in North Dallas! We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with strong C# skills and strong front end experience, working in a hybrid cloud environment.

We want a talented, Senior Engineer who can design, develop and deliver the vision for software solutions from the ground up.

The Senior Engineer will participate in analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software applications for internal and external clients.

This position will also support, maintain, evaluate, and improve existing software applications and systems.

What You'll Do:

Responsibility for technical deliverables on various projects

Analyze requirements to design and deliver functional code and automated test(s)

Understand and contribute to functional and non-functional requirements

Analyze, design, develop, test, document, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot/debug internally developed applications

Produce reliable and efficient software which satisfies the requirements and adheres to industry standards and practices

Provide collaborative input for project estimates while maintaining the ability to understand and follow the Project Management Methodology (PMM)

Investigate, review, and recommend new technologies to address business needs

Maintain awareness of corporate policies and procedures as they pertain to the Software
Engineer's roles and responsibilities

Work with internal and external customers to understand their needs

Develop adequate documentation at all levels

Ability to research information and share experiences

Continue to enhance ones skills through reading, mentoring, and training (either external or internal)

Communicate clearly with excellent interpersonal skills

Provide mentoring for more junior IT members

Contribute to the department's team environment in a positive manner

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Skills/Experience You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent training plus work experience.

8+ years of Application Development experience

Experience with Tableau or a similar data visualization product

Knowledge of the entire SDLC including; Software Design, Testing, Deployment, and
Documentation

Basic understanding of OOAD concepts and techniques

Microsoft SQL Server 2012+ and T-SQL including database design, development, testing, and debugging

Service Oriented Architecture (Web Services, API)

Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes preferred)

Experience with client side Web technologies

HTML5 / CSS/LESS

JavaScript

ReactJS
Experience with Windows .NET Framework
