Responsibilities:

Work as part of a scrum team to implement the frontend to our cloud services using JavaScript (ES6), HTML5 and CSS3.

Use libraries and frameworks such as React and Semantic to produce a clean, maintainable codebase.

Work with Business Analysts to design a UI that provides an intuitive user experience.

Write automated tests to eliminate regressions between new versions of the UI.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

5+ years of general frontend JavaScript experience

Meaningful targeted experience with React.js, D3.js and ES6

Mastery of HTTP and REST APIs

Experience using UI frameworks like Semantic or Bootstrap

Experience with supporting technologies such as yarn, npm, webpack, babel

Experience working with both Relational and Nonrelational databases

Experience with version control using Git

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, or Java

Experience with Docker and containerization

Knowledge of business process management platforms such as Appian or Pega

Domain knowledge in upstream oil and gas, preferably in Oil Field Services or Petroleum Engineering
