Job Description - Project Delivery Manager
Title: Cybersecurity Transformation Project Delivery Manager (DM) Job Summary:
The Project Delivery Manager will work with key project stakeholders, external technology partners and all relevant technology and cybersecurity teams within the company to support the delivery of Nessus as a global enterprise service solution.
The Project Delivery Manager will support the successful delivery through effective planning, risk management and communication with the CSMIP Project Manager.
This role reports into CSMIP Vulnerability Scanning (Nessus) Project Manager and will require travel to Sheffield and London offices.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages the end to end delivery of Nessus Global Enterprise Services (may be region specific, i.e. US, UK, HK and Mexico)
• Establishes and communicates procedures for releasing software to production.
• Work closely with various team leaders for planning, managing, and implementation of changes.
• Participate in change management process to ensure due process and supporting the Change Advisory Board functions.
• Creates measurements of release health and monitors release progress to ensure physical and software delivery phases meet or exceed expectations.
• Gain a clear understanding of customers' business requirements and their technical requirements.
• Validate the approach and solution design proposed by collaborating with customers and stakeholders to manage their expectations and resolve business issues in a timely manner.
• Facilitate internal communication and assembling a solution delivery team for new engagements.
• Troubleshoot and provide timely resolution of systems issues regarding data analysis, application setup and configuration, application usage, queries, data changes, and reporting. • Track, manage and report on deliverable attainment and/or SLA (Service Level Agreement) performance.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Plan and manage resource availability and utilization to provide adequate production support coverage.
• Provide application support readiness for changes to the production environment to ensure all changes and processes are properly understood and documented.
• Implement knowledge management strategy and communicate process and procedures.
• Perform issue management and facilitate issue resolution with proper notification to all affected parties. Education, Experience and Requirements
• 5-7 years of experience in managing delivery of virtual and physical machines and network infrastructure.
• Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle, change management, and project management.
• Broad knowledge of cloud services (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), Information Security, IT infrastructure and networking systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a sense of urgency to meet business expectations.
• Strong analytical and business problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data related issues.
• Highly metrics driven approach with strong organization skills.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to translate complex technical issue to business users. • Knowledge of audit and compliance related processes and procedures.
• Assertive, self-motivated and self-directed.
• Ability to contract and negotiate with internal and external parties.
