Job Description

We are currently looking for an Accounting Supervisor for a large corporation located in Boca Raton, FL.

Excellent opportunity for someone looking to transfer from Big 4 and move in to a corporate role that offers leadership.

This role will be on the General Ledger Accounting team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead month-end close and financial reporting process following corporate policies, including special quarterly, yearend and tax requirements.

Prepare management report and operational report to track spending and help division to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual plan.

Ensure integrity of General Ledger and Chart of Accounts.

Oversee and coordinate with team members on general accounting process: Cash, AR, AP, PR,
Fixed assets, expense reports, other general ledger activity

Assist Division Controller with annual planning and financial forecasting, and department budgets.

Assure proper segregation of duties and other controls are in place to secure company against impropriety

Manage Account Reconciliations on cash and all other GL accounts, and provide timely and reliable cash forecasting on weekly basis.

Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree Accounting

CPA highly preferred

Experience in big 4 or large national accounting firm
