Location: Mid Town Manhattan (5 minute walk from Grand Central) or Danbury CT

Posistion Type: Contract to hire (Aprox 6 month Contract)

Our Client is seeking an enthusiastic recent college graduate or someone with 1-3 years experience to join their rapidly growing team.

The ideal candidate has a passion for learning; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel; comfort with using new technology platforms; strong written and verbal skills; ability to collaborate with team members; and attention to detail.

Analysts will have the chance to work closely with, and gain knowledge from, senior managers with 10-25+ years of experience in the financial markets, consulting, project management, risk management, technology, data analysis, and litigation. They will be uniquely positioned to see firsthand the wide variety of issues facing financial institutions today including residual litigation and lessons learned from the financial crisis, navigating emerging financial markets, understanding complex financing structures, operational and risk management challenges, and technology needs.

The candidate will receive invaluable on-the-job credit and analytical training while taking on responsibilities for data analysis and management; reading and understanding financial/credit documents; onboarding financial structures to their proprietary systems; performing monitoring activities on financial transactions; system administration/testing, research, client interaction, and general support for more senior analysts and subject matter experts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelor's Degree

Recent Graduate

Analytical/problem solving ability

Strong Excel skills and comfort with new technologies

Strong written and verbal communication skills
