UI Developer

Who We Are

Our client is a pioneer and leader in the development of innovative SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions for financial and business analytics and decision support for hospitals and healthcare systems across the country.

The Position

We are looking for a UI/UX Developer responsible for setting standards for the developers creating UI and creating common controls that will be shared across the development team.

We embrace Agile, and we are team focused. You will be working with multiple small Scrum teams and our UX Designers to help standardize the UI.

We run 2 week sprints, and the entire team participates in design and story point estimation.

Our Development Environment

Our technology stack is Microsoft focused, primarily programming in C# using Visual Studio 2017.

Our front end is driven by Microsoft ASP.NET and enterprise JavaScript library Sencha ExtJs,and our back end on SQL Server 2017.

Every developer is outfitted with a high-end desktop with dual wide screen monitors.

Responsibilities

Creating common UI controls that will be used by multiple teams

Creating a standard styling for large enterprise application

Assist other developers in creating a common User Interface

Develop and maintain complex features and services that meet business requirements

Engage and participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Grooming,
Retrospective, and Sprint Review

Ensure product quality through automated tests and submitting code reviews

Learn financial and healthcare concepts

Requirements

3+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React)

Expert level familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS3

Experience working with ASP.Net MVC

Experience with ExtJs a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good understanding of HTTP, REST, Web Application Security, browser concepts

B.S. degree or foreign academic equivalent in General Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field
