We are currently seeking a candidate who will be part of a dedicated information technology department responsible for all aspects of the desktop computing environment. The ideal candidate is one who seeks to advance his or her knowledge of information technology and who is a dedicated professional with excellent communication skills. Responsibilities & Goals Microsoft Windows Setup and Support (Windows 7/10 Windows Server 2012/2016) Proficient knowledge in PowerShell Advanced competency with Microsoft Office 2013 and 2016 Suite Apple iOS Device MDM Setup and Support (iPhone / iPad) Experience supporting Office 365 and Active Directory Network connectivity Troubleshooting Skills VMware View Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Configuration and Support Proficient in the installation and basic testing of full Desktop and Thin Client Setup and peripherals. Re-imaging hard drives a plus Provide timely support for users Pro-actively monitor systems for potential faults and remediate as necessary Communicate professionally with IT team and users Document Helpdesk processes and procedures Other duties and projects as assigned Plan and undertake regular maintenance work on the computer systems. Ready to fix any and every problem that can happen with desktops and laptops Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree At least 2-3 years' experience of Desktop Support preferred Prior work experience within a technology department or internship Required Skills Highly motivated A+ or Network + certified preferred Self-starter with a strong appetite for knowledge Strong organizational skills with the ability to set, organize and meet priorities Strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently as well as with others in small team, energetic environment Ability to lift and carrying 30-50 pounds
