IT Support Specialist
Six-Month Contract-to-Hire
Denver, CO

Searching for a Technical Support Specialist to assist our Denver client in supporting their corporate headquarter's IT Team. This is a six-month contract-to-hire and is located in the heart of downtown Denver.
Job Functions:
- Work in a team environment, completing Tier I and II Help Desk support & troubleshooting in a Windows and Mac environment.
- Local and remote support of Corporate Users - Desktops, Printers & Phone Systems.
- Prioritization of incoming Phone, Ticket & Email requests for technical assistance - utilization of next level of staff for escalations.
- Assistance with operational, hardware, application and/or network connectivity issues - both computers and phone systems.
- Log and track calls and tickets utilizing ServiceNow.
- Assist with new user workstation setup - computer/phone/email, etc.
- Assist IT Teams when shorthanded.
Requirements:
- MS Office 2010/2013 troubleshooting proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Understanding of MS Windows Server & Desktop Systems, as well as Mac OS.
- Extensive troubleshooting skills & willingness to take on all computer-related issues - meeting company objectives and working well in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of Network - OS, Security, Ethernet, TCP/IP DNS, SCCM, WSUS, VPN & Remote/Wireless communication.
- Understanding of Active Directory and ability to manage user accounts (Manage Engine, AD Manager, DesktopCentral preferred).
Education/Experience:
- BS in Comp Sci, Info Systems or related
- 3+ years of Desktop Support experience in multi-operating systems environment (WindowsXP/Vista/7/10 & Mac OS)
