Job Description

Infinity Consulting Solutions (ICS) is currently seeking a tealnted Java/J2EE Developer for a contract opportunity with one of our clients in the Columbus, Ohio area.

Description:

Expert in Java J2EE and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers); Is multi-skilled with expertise across software

development lifecycle and toolset; May be recognized as a leader in Agile and

cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks; Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill; Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration,

Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency,

security; Stays abreast of cutting edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business;

Qualification

Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

Understanding of architecture and design across all systems and working proficiency in developmental and code-versioning toolsets

Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals

Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages: Java (preferably Java 8), Spring framework (MVC, Spring Boot) and Web services /REST APIs

Experience of one or more of the following front-end development technologies: AngularJS, reactJS, JSP, JQuery, AJAX, Java-script, CSS, JSON, HTML5

Familiarity with agile/scrum methodology

Experience with NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc) and Relational Databases (we use Oracle/Hibernate, ORM)

Understanding fundamental design principles behind Cloud-Foundry, Spring cloud Netflix components, micro-services and scalable applications

Understanding accessibility and security compliance using tools such as Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience

Skills

5+ years of experience as an Application Developer with a focus on Java/Java EE development

3+ years of experience working with Rest Services

4+ years of experience working in a Unix/Windows environment

2+ year experience with Spring, Hibernate, Spring Batch frameworks

2 year experience in Messaging framework (Apache MQ or Kafka)

3 year of Angular JS or JavaScript web applications

2+ year of experience with building CI/CD pipelines for automations

1+ year of experience designing Cloud base applications

3 years for experience with SQL2+ year of experience with building CI/CD pipelines for automations

Exposure to Open Source build tools (Apache Maven, Gradle)

Exposure to ATDD (Selenium/Cucumber nice to have), UFT, ALM, JIRA

Experience in developing JavaScript application using AngularJS, Node JS or similar
technologies

Demonstrated proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming and design techniques
