Sales and Use Tax Senior Associate

Dallas, TX

As their practice continues to grow, our client is searching for a Sales and Use Tax Senior Associate to join the team.

Responsibilities

Review and perform tax plans and returns related to state and local taxes

Research sales tax issues, summarizing issues in written form for firm or client use

Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, building client relationships

Coordinate development of planning activities on engagements including time budgets

Ability to plan, perform and deliver work independently

Ensure that deliverables are clear, concise and within guidelines

Assist in development and delivery of project budgets, timelines

Demonstrate an understanding of the client's operations and accounting system

Requirements

1-3 years of sales and use tax in public accounting or equivalent

Bachelor's degree – Accounting, related field

Master's degree (preferred)

CPA Candidate, CPA preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication

Proven ability to lead and develop team
