Currently seeking an Infrastructure Systems Team Lead.

What you'll do:

Lead a team of systems engineers who design, test, implement, and support custom high-performance trading infrastructure solutions in a complex global environment

Interface with exchanges, brokers, and technology vendors to build customized infrastructure solutions

Keep up with the latest technology and identify opportunities to improve the stability, flexibility, or performance of our infrastructure

Define, drive, and deliver complex infrastructure deployments

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Engineers

Provide escalation support for production issues, providing swift and dependable resolution to complex problems

What you'll have:

Senior level experience as a systems engineer in a large, complex, and performance sensitive environment

Experience being a manager, team lead, or mentor to a team of Engineers

Deep understanding of Linux

Experience managing a large number of Linux systems

Scripting and/or programming experience (Python, Perl, BASH, or other)

Experience with provisioning and configuration management systems

Strong performance analysis and tuning skills

Strong understanding of modern CPU architecture

Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and technologies

Experience with vendor relationship management

Must be passionate, determined, and have intellectual curiosity

Must have the ability and desire to work collaboratively

Typically at least 5 years of related experience

A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Bonus points:

Experience working in an technical role in the Finance/Trading industry strongly preferred

Experience with low latency/real-time environments

Knowledge of precision timing

Low level programing experience in C/C++

RHCE/RHCA or equivalent certification

Master's and/or PhD in related field
