SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER

DALLAS, TX

POSITION:

ICS is working with a progressive SaaS solutions provider to hire a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in Downtown Dallas.

This person will design, install, administer, and optimize Microsoft Windows servers and related components to achieve and maintain high performance of business applications.

Also, there is a heavy emphasis on supporting the Microsoft AD infrastructure.

This position will be part of a global team and will give you the opportunity to take on a diverse role with cutting edge technologies!

The ideal candidate will work well in a collaborative environment and be an advocate for delivering quality work with the utmost professionalism.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain and support server hardware, Windows Server operating systems, core Microsoft back office technologies, and 3rd party infrastructure software and applications

Ensure the availability of client/server applications

Configure new implementations

Develop processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment.

Share responsibility for the security, integrity, and safety of the data center/server farm.

Scope of responsibilities include.

Configurate and manage operations of Active Directory

REQUIREMENTS:

8+ years’ experience in system administration and engineering—Windows Server, Active
Directory, WSUS, DNS and DHCP, SSO

Experience with RSA authentication manager administration

Experience with IIS, MSSQL 2005/2008/2012/2016

Experience with Automation/Scripting (PowerShell)

Experience with F5 Load Balancers

Patching, change control, documentation creation & maintenance

Office 365 and Exchange Administration experience

Proven experience in highly complex, enterprise environments

Excellent skills with large AD infrastructures and troubleshooting

Self-motivated and accountable for your work

Passionate about learning and continuous improvement

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work on-call and occasionally overtime
