Web Developer

Summary:

This role works with Program Analysts and business stakeholders to design, develop, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot a wide variety of custom web applications for internal and external use.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop custom solutions, including the analysis, development, testing, implementation, and documentation for these solutions.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications.

Create and maintain appropriate application documentation, including end-user and technical maintenance materials for custom applications.

Provide technical support for both IT staff members and 3rd level support to end users on custom applications.

Work with outside vendors for technical support to resolve complex problems.

Evaluate and recommend programmer productivity tools.

Act as liaison to technical user groups regarding information systems issues; represent the Web Services Group in seminars and workshops.

Keep abreast of technology trends and new technologies and recommend as necessary within the group.

Other duties as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

Required:

Bachelor's degree

A strong understanding of the web and application development languages and tools which include: HTML, CSS, Javascript (Jquery, Underscore, Vue JS), .NET framework,
VB.Net/C#.Net, SQL, and Responsive Framework – Bootstrap

Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web Forms

Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Stored Procedure programming and knowledge of Relational
Database concepts

Source Control – VSS, TFS, Git

Experience creating and consuming web services

Software development life cycle

Technical documentation

Application integration

Preferred:

Coveo Admin / Development (creating indexes, custom connectors)

Mongo DB

Sitecore XDB, FXM, WFFM

TDS (Team Development for Sitecore)
