Job Description
This role will be responsible for defining and implementing Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategy to unite our Business Solutions and IT Services departments across common goals, policies, procedures and outlooks.
Principal Responsibilities
Continually research/evaluate best practice trends in EA while anticipating emerging technology and business needs
Team up with the Capability Teams and IT Services to provide the best solutions for customers,
Facilitate the collection, correlation and management of technical architecture & related needs to provide institutional documentation while leveraging for purposes like equipment lifecycle management and steadiness of operations.
Support application teams in process reengineering initiatives by mapping current processes and pointing out areas for improvement.
Provide EA governance model that establishes oversight, guiding principles, target state/roadmaps, and compliance processes.
Manage Business Solutions and IT Services vendor contracts and provide advice for financial management and budget planning.
Participate in the Enterprise Change Control Board, ensuring change requests are considered against the backdrop of the master business process/data documentation.
Lead the evaluation of all new 3rd party and hosted SaaS software products to ensure the products are interoperable with existing and planned architectures.
Manage professional services resources related to EA initiatives on an as needed basis.

Expert understanding of the application systems development lifecycle, including system analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, documentation and support.
Strong proficiency in use of EA tools for modeling and analysis.
Knowledge of systems management principles – quality control, security, reporting, teamwork.
Must possess independent decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree required, degree in Computer or Information Science preferred.
10+ years of relevant experience in ERP systems and/or software development.
Demonstrated expertise in enterprise level application systems and architecture.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially excel spreadsheets, and the use of EA tools like BarometerIT.
Experience working in virtual teams across matrix organizations.
