Accounts Payable, Team Lead

Responsibilities

Manage the accounts payable process with an outsourced data entry service for multiple subsidiaries.

Review vendor invoices for accuracy, proper coding and timely payment.

Maintain a recurring payment schedule, issue checks, ACHs and online payments.

Lead a W-9 compliance project, coordinate new vendor process, and the annual 1099 process.

Be the liaison for vendors inquiries and all other matters

Effectively communicate status of payments and resolve issues with the management team.

Assist with building best practices and participate in a variety of projects to automate processes. Implement policies and procedures that improves work efficiency.

Demonstrate good understanding of general accounting and how vendor payables impact the financial statements

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.

At least 5 years of experience in AP.

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Diligence, attention to detail, and organizational skills
