SQL Database Administrator
St Paul, MN
6+ month Contract with option to extend
Open to experience level: Looking for 3+ years of proven SQL DBA work within mid to large / big box shops
Unique and new position opened up in this global, mid-sized, tech company (SaaS, packaged SW, web solutions, etc.).
This is a unique and challenging SQL DBA role – working on both enterprise SQL database administration and working with a "cash cow” product team ( Global SaaS/cloud product )
This SQL DBA will need to be comfortable and experienced joining the Scrum sessions, code reviews, dev-ops, etc. Will work with Enterprise / Share Services and Product development teams…
3+ years of corporate IT experience as a DBA
Familiarity with SaaS, web-based, packaged software type products / services / capabilities
SQL PaaS Azure exposure is a plus
Any Cloud exposure ( AWS , Azure ) is a plus as well
Understanding of DevOps model
Will be working between "enterprise IT” and "product Dev” who works on a DevOps / Agile process model
Performance tuning and replication
Scripting
Single node and clustered experience
SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
SharePoint 2010, 2013
Patching
Agile / Scrum
Understanding of DevOps model
VMWARE exposure
Oracle database and / or MongoDB experience is a plus
SQL DBA
