Our client is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.

They are looking to add a senior full-stack engineer to their Prime Brokerage team

Their Prime Brokerage team serves a diverse array of needs for the global hedge fund industry and other clients that require financing.

The PB business is a market leader, based on our industry leading technology, products and people.

Their STP Apps Technology team works very closely with the business to provide cutting-edge technology, expertise and products to the business.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will join a team responsible for building the Custody and Fund Services platform support multiple asset classes and build an infrastructure that would differentiate us from the competition.

The candidate will be involved with developing our platform including electronic trading, capture of asset and processing, real-time matching engines, workflow and rules engines, facilitate clearing and settlement, build middle-office solution for Hedge Funds.

Exposure and involvement in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from conception to completion.

This includes project management, code development, user interaction, application testing, and project rollout.

He/She will have exposure to both our internal and external clients to help meet our objectives.

Given the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the business,

The candidate will be expected to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Skills Required:

Core Java, multi-threading, Spring, JUnit, JMS Understanding of message-based architectures Object Oriented Design and Development

RDBMS Sybase and/or DB2 is preferable,

proficiency in writing complex SQL queries

Web Services, Ant, Ivy, Clover, Jenkins, Perforce, Shell Scripts, Perl.

Experience of Agile development techniques and a deep understanding of systems engineering

build and release management principles including continuous integration and continuous delivery.
