Job Description

This position is for the Technology Program/Project Manager within the Our client Wealth Management (WM) Global Banking Technology (GBT) organization.

The candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, tracking and reporting on the GBT organization's critical division-wide activities for mandatory initiatives such as software upgrades, end of life, application decommissioning and technology compliance programs.

The role requires the ability to interact and empathize with development and QA teams, demonstrating the ability to act as a value add partner for those teams.

Responsibilities:

Liaise with divisional stakeholders on mandatory division-wide technology driven initiatives as a representative for the GBT department

Plan, track and coordinate activities across various project managers and delivery managers to ensure the GBT department's timely and cost-effective delivery on several
mandatory division-wide technology driven initiatives

Produce monthly status reporting for Tech Driven initiatives for GBT management

Produce monthly reporting for various governance forums and senior management.

Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Information Technology

Ability to develop, monitor and report on project and resource plans.-Superior written and verbal communication skills

Excellent time management skills, ability to efficiently prioritize and multitask, and work under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines and objectives-High level of attention to detail and focus on precision

A minimum of five years of experience in financial services

In depth knowledge of project management methodologies, best practices and technology processes, including waterfall and agile.

Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to navigate complex organizations and build relationships

Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Word

Skills Desired:

Knowledge of banking products and services

PMP or Prince2 Certification
