Spend Management Technology supports the Re-Engineering and Expense Mgmt. businesses which are responsible for the Firm's sourcing, contracts, procurement, invoicing, and accounts and third part risk functions.

The goal of Spend Mgmt.

Technology team is to provide an effective and integrated end-to-end solution for the Source to Pay process and to enable transparency into the Firm's spend on goods and services to identify opportunities for saving and cost reduction.

Spend Management Technology is seeking a strong DBA to join our team.

Skills Desired:

5+ Years of strong database architecture experience.

Strong Data Modeling skills - Enterprise Data Model (OLTP) and Dimensional modeling. Well versed with principles, techniques and best practices of data modeling.

Prior experience with modeling tools such as Power Designer or CA Erwin essential

Strong Skills in Relational Database (preferably DB2) including database design, performance tuning, writing complex DB programs etc.

Experience in closely working with application teams (ETL, Tableau etc.) and managing all the DB related activities such as DB modeling, design, development, maintenance and
support

Demonstrate proficient skills in analysis and resolution of application performance problems.

Experience with Unix, Autosys, Perl is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Closely work with applications teams in implementing the right database design and solution for the business applications

Develop a thorough understanding of the data definitions, domain values, data relationships, business rules, sources and data integration for each subject area

Work with client and business analysts to review their business requirements.

Responsible for design and maintenance of database schema and objects throughout the lifecycle of the applications.

Supporting implemented solutions by: monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and
communicating functional and technical issues.

Troubleshoot data issues and work with data providers for resolution

Required Skills:

DB2 Query Building and Optimization

Data Architecture and Design

Strong Database Development experience ( Stored Procedures, Ability to write and tune complex SQL's, Good scripting experience, Shell/Perl etc)

Expertise on DB2

Data Modeling

Enterprise (OLTP) and Dimensional Modeling using Power Designer or CA Erwin

Desired Skills:

Knowledge and some experience on Big Data technologies
