We are hiring for a tech savvy, creative and outgoing Database Engineer who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done in a start-up environment.

The primary technical stack is written in React Native, React, NodeJS, and Microservices utilizing a MongoDB as well as many other technologies including MS SQL Server, Redshift and AWS solutions.

The Database Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing databases.

This will involve tuning, migrating, building, and maintaining databases as well as be responsible for coding ETL data import and export tools for the team.

What You'll Do:

Provides all aspects of database support: Design to the implementation of both transactional and analytical systems.

Support projects throughout entire life cycle and planned timeline.

Develop strategies and solutions for back-up, restoration, and replication for database.

Develop scripts to automate tasks, procedures and functions to optimize database environment.

Design, development, and administration of solutions using RDS, Redshift and other AWS platforms.

Responsible implementation and support of ETL, monitoring and reporting processes.

Responsible for tuning and developing database solutions.

Responsible for coding ETL, C#, NodeJS or other server side solutions.

Skills/Experience You'll Need:

2 years of design, implementation and administration of SQL Server

2 Year of design, implementation and administration of databases in the public cloud environment such as Amazon AWS, MS Azure, IBM, etc.,

2 Year of design, implementation and administration of open source databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, etc.,

2 Year of AWS RDS, Redshift, EC2, and S3 deployment experience & working knowledge in AWS cloud solutions.

Strong knowledge of ETL frameworks and business intelligence, reporting, databases and
SQL programming. (MS SQL, Visual Studio.) etc.

2 to 4 years experience in Database Migration

Must have hands-on experience with db design and engineering with Aurora, PostgresSQL,
SQL Server, MySQL and Cloud Solutions/Services.

Must be strong in engineering/design, and can speak in depth about cloud - AWS (RDS and EC2 and Redshift), Hadoop, NO SQL, and MongoDB

Must have experience designing databases.

Strong knowledge of ETL frameworks and business intelligence, reporting, databases and
SQL programming. (MS SQL, Visual Studio.) etc.

6 years SQL Server design, implementation and administration, SQL Server 2008 and later, SSRS, SSAS and SSIS.
