Job Description

Our Client is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.

The Firm's employees serve clients worldwide including corporations, governments & individuals from more than 1,200 offices in 43 countries.

They are currently looking to add a senior QA focusing on Automation to their VMO team.

Candidate will be an experienced QA Tester for a new Vendor Management System.

The Vendor Management System will serve as a repository for the firm's vendor information and is considered a crucial application in the Spend Management space.

This system will be used as central inventory for vendor /third parties information sourced from various systems like Ariba, APDM etc. the system will consolidate vendor/third party related data according to VMO( vendor management office ) requirements.

This is a state-of-the-art Greenfield development that starts with a tactical phase, leading to a multi-year strategic implementation this project, he will be responsible for the testing of UI, middle ware and service components developed in Java/Scala.

Skills Required:

Minimum 5+ years testing in medium and large projects

Ability to understand complexity of business flows

Need hands on current experience with unix scripting

Hands on experience with automatic testing methodologies and tools.

3 or more years' experience with Test Complete Automated Testing Tools

3 or more years Quality Assurance experience with manual and automated testing procedures for multi-tiered applications.

Strong understanding of the software development life cycle methodologies (agile)

Good written and oral communication skills-Ability to set up Test Complete or other Test Automation tools.

Focus on finding software defects, and producing highest quality deliverables.

Skill DesiredFinancial Services experience is a plus

Familiarity with DB2/Teradata/Greenplum a plus

Familiarity with Perl /Python a plus
