Senior Windows Engineer
$120,000 - $130,000/year

Position Overview:
Configure, maintain, and upgrade Domain Controllers
Configure, maintain, and upgrade Servers
Configure, maintain, and upgrade Storage Area Networks
Oversees or performs the installation and testing of upgrades working with the systems and applications teams.
VMware Virtualization of Servers and Desktops
Engineering of automated server deployments
Scripting (PowerShell)
Design and maintain server backup and recovery strategy
Evaluates system performance and reports to management
Defines processes and procedures for daily operational support
Assists with software product evaluation, including installation, testing, and technical assistance
Assists in monitoring and reporting system performance
Develops and maintains system problem analysis and resolution techniques
Analyzes and resolves system and user problems quickly and efficiently
Participate in the development of technology roadmaps and the establishment of reference architectures and standards in support of our production and development environments
Provides functional and technical expertise with managing, implementing, and designing computing & storage environments
Position Requirements:
7+ years of system administration experience with Windows Server 2008. 2012, 2016
operating systems
Data Center Virtualization Certification(s): VCA-DCV, VCP-DCV, VCAP5-DCA, VCAP5-DCD
Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
Hands on experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Active directory (Cross forest trusts & access), Automated Server Deployment, Microsoft Azure, Physical to
Virtual Migrations, Server Clusters, Server backup and recovery, SAN Operations, Radius Servers, Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, Windows PKI, Cisco UCS server platforms
Hands on experience in the following areas would also be preferred: NetApp Storage,
System Center Configuration Manager, System Center Operations Manager, SharePoint, Novell
E-directory, Novell IDM (NetIQ), Linux
