Project Coordinator
Short Term Contract
Downtown Denver
Project coordinator needed to help run complex merger of two companies' systems.
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of working with Merger and Acquisition, Business services or Integrations.
Project Coordinator needed to help provide program & project support by updating project plans, reconciling budgets, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring project artifacts are gathered and stored.
The Project Coordinator collaborates, negotiates and works within a matrixed organization.
This is an opportunity to work with a fast growing software as a service company with autonomy and really make an impact from a PC standpoint.
Responsibilities:
- Provides project management support to ensure overall success of initiatives
- Updating project implementation plans including project business benefit, scope, objectives, schedule, deliverables, budget and success criteria
- Supports project team members and contractors and encourages them to take positive action and accountability for assigned work
- Assists with requests for additional staff and/or contractors to complete technology projects
- Coordinates project related activities for cross functional team(s)
- Determines content of status reports from the project team, troubleshoots problem areas and delivers overall progress reports.
- Maintains relationships across Technology, customers and vendors to develop an understanding of core business functions and align project with overall business objectives
- Participates in project post-mortem assessments and suggests improvements in process or procedures
- Manages issues and proactively escalate critical issues for immediate resolution
- Coordinates all IT projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately
- Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems.
- Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.
- Travel to various Denver metro areas may be required.
Requirements:
- Three to four years experience providing project coordination support
- Knowledge of G-suite. I.E Gmail, Docs, Drive and Calendar for Business
- Knowledge of IT methodologies and tools.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills and a proven track record communicating at all levels within IT and the business delivering quality customer service. Public sector experience preferred.
- Problem solving with ability to look at issues from multiple angles and able to address solutions at both conceptual and detail level.
- Quality and customer service orientation.
- Effective collaboration, negotiation, relationship management, and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated, self-directed and results oriented.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Decision making, and issues management and resolution skills.
- Ability to work against deadlines.
- 4 year degree highly preferred.
