VP of Accounting

Dallas, TX

Job Functions

Manage accounting team performance, metrics and growth while communicating closely with senior leadership to ensure goals and objectives are consistently achieved

Hire and develop accounting professionals in variety of specialties, training both technical skills and professional growth

Work closely with leadership across divisions including sales, technology and development

Domestic and International financial statements, supporting schedules, quarterly filings, variance analyses and other applicable reports

Ensure compliance with internal controls, responsible for GAAP policy research, IFRS policy and documentation

Utilize expertise in technical accounting and reporting to develop, implement and maintain accounting standards and accounting control procedures

Requirements

MBA, Accounting or Finance

CPA highly preferred

10+ years progressive accounting experience

Advanced knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and technical accounting

Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
