Senior Project Manager

3+ Month Contract (w/chance of extension or conversion)

Chanhassen, MN

Position Summary/Overview:

Project Managers within the Technology PMO are responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budget, and ensuring effective delivery of technical solutions.

Manages projects from discovery through delivery

Coordinates the final delivery of applications including UAT, final signoff, the implementation phase, and any post production warranty period

Defines and manages project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of technical solutions

Conducts Project Management administrative activities this includes but is not limited to, status reporting to a variety of stakeholders, project metric reporting, and managing
project documentation

Ensures ongoing resource needs are captured in the PPM tool and partners with resource managers on resource requests

Position Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a project manager/project management leader

Experience effectively working with external partners including offshore teams and/or vendor partners

Experience working within an Agile environment

Experience with PPM tools such as Clarity

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and successfully

Ability to influence project teams in a matrixed environment

Experience working with a variety of technical resources across Technology and business stakeholders

Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately report on project progress and outcomes

Ability to establish priorities, plan, manage scope, and be able to effectively deliver to timelines

PMP Certification is preferred, but not required
