Job Description

We are working with a client looking for a senior level or lead level Database specialist.

Our client is open to hiring a consultant as they look for a permanent hire.

The consultant can also be considered for the permanent role.

This person must have Strong skills with Oracle and SQL Server databases, Data Marts/Warehouses, ETL (ODI),and SSRS. Here are some additional details.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing, testing and deploying Oracle PL/SQL package in a SDLC

Writing and optimizing Oracle SQL statements

Creating and maintaining Oracle data warehouse objects

Develop and promote Oracle Data Integration scenarios from development to production

Develop and maintain operating procedures and support documentation for PL/SQL packages and procedures

Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for PL/SQL and Integrations

QUALIFICATIONS

Good understanding and working knowledge of RDBMS designs

Strong communication, decision making, problem solving and analytical skills

Understanding and use of version control system

Strong data warehouse design including partitioning, incremental loading, and data versioning techniques

Experience in Windows Server environment

Ability to perform minor DBA tasks if needed (Indexing, Query Tuning, Manage security, etc.).

Strong PL/SQL and SQL skills
