Our client is seeking a strong Windows-based DevOps engineer, who wants to be ingrained in cutting-edge Cloud technologies.

This person will continue automating any manual process, and constantly deploy Infrastructure-as-Code.

They are a global Financial Services firm, who believes in investing in Technology to remain competitive in constantly changing markets.

Review, analyze and evaluate complex, cloud-based business systems, processes and data to meet user needs

Develop ARM templates that will be used for infrastructure/application development

Design, build, and maintain the deployment of environments across dev/uat/prod environments while utilizing Azure cloud-based tools

Design, build, test, and maintain enterprise risk management environments across multiple regions

Analyze and initiate business process improvements and solutions to identify risk factors and formulate solutions to mitigate risks

Resolve highly complex issues to provide timely resolutions

Assist with software and infrastructure management, inventory, installations, configurations and connectivity

Understand and implement Git Flow practices and build automation to assist and enforce the process

Track project progress and adjust timelines/deliverable employing agile principles

Strong willingness to implement new Azure technologies to empower end users

Administering Windows Server and Desktop environments including configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, and resolving issues

Troubleshoot directly with application teams to help resolve any issues that may arise

Partner with our developers to automate the monitoring, alerting, availability and scalability of our applications and systems

Design, build automated solution using SCCM for patch management

Assist in defining, implementing and enforcing of our security policy

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or technology related field

5+ years' of experience in architecting, implementation and maintaining Microsoft infrastructure technologies

3+ years' of experience focused on cloud environments and supporting infrastructure

Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends

Prior work experience in a Consulting/Architecture position within a software and/or services company

Experience with the Microsoft Azure in a DevOps Engineer role as well as application infrastructure related activities is a must

Experience planning, configuration, optimization and deploying Microsoft Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, VMs, AD, Automation, Monitor, etc.)

Deep understanding of application development design principles and patterns, and the software development lifecycle

Familiarity with automated test, build, and integration techniques

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; strong ability to be an active listener; ability to present complex, technical ideas in a clear and concise manner to
non-technical audiences

Proactive and forward-thinking attitude and creative problem-solving ability
