SOFTWARE SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Seeking an experienced Software Support Specialist to join a growing national data organization in the Loop.
The Software Support Specialist will help troubleshoot data issues that arise and support clients as needed.
Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
As the Software Support Specialist, you will be actively working with others members of the Data Services team to track and solve problems as they are reported, support our various products, and retain client relations by providing excellent customer support.
The successful candidate will be detail oriented, have the ability to handle multiple issues at the same time, and have a strong work ethic.
In addition, this candidate will be taking responsibility for assisting in the management of API and other data-delivery services.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team are required.
Responsibilities:
1-3 years of experience as a Software Support/Data Support Analyst in a professional setting
Previous experience working with end users to solve issues
Analyze/troubleshoot data related issues
Support and maintain in-house data delivery software
General understanding of APIs and how to deliver to customers
Customer service abilities and mindset needed to be successful in this role
Field internal and external inquiries and requests
Use JIRA to track reported data issues
SQL Server experience is a plus
Project Management experience is a plus
