Job Description

A large, fast-growing Electronic Communication Network for foreign exchange trading is seeking to add an overnight Operations Officer to their growing team.

Key Accountabilities

Support the global Operations team and be the first port of call for any trade issues for our diverse client base; such as value date mismatches, missing trades, off-market trades etc.

Interact across a broad range of market participants including Sell side, Buy side and Prime Brokers.

Work with internal teams, as well as external counterparties, to onboard clients in line with Euronext policy and procedures; work with existing clients on new session setups and co-ordinate testing before go-live.

Ongoing relationship management to ensure existing setups are optimised and working in an efficient manner.

Co-ordinate with the Euronext team on the monthly billing process and invoice generation, as well as weekly revenue reporting for Management.

Perform other additional ad-hoc duties and projects as required to meet the needs of the business.

Proactively use Salesforce to monitor on-boarding queue and log production issues.

Work with the technology team to develop new tools and applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Essential:

Broad knowledge and interest in financial markets and deep knowledge of the FX Spot market

Experience working within a global team, facing off to a large number of shareholders, in a time sensitive environment

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively and adapt communication style to suit diverse audiences

Desirable:

University bachelor’s degree with a numerical content i.e. Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics

FX Operations or related Financial Services experience preferred, Prime Brokerage background would be highly desirable.

Knowledge of the Traiana trade give-up/matching process and experience using Salesforce would be advantageous.

Data analytics skills desirable, advanced Excel skills and/or Python.

Ability to multitask and adhere to pre-set deadlines.

Strong client service skills and attention to detail.

NDF product knowledge desirable but not essential.
