Technical Lead

We are a growing and dynamic technology company located in beautiful Boulder, Colorado looking for a great Technical Engineer to join our team.

Our world-class software is designed to solve complex Content Lifecycle Management (CLM) problems in the aviation and aerospace industries. Our products touch upon a large variety of solutions including: technical engineering order management, documentation authoring and publishing, flight operations manuals, data archiving, and other workflow, documentation and maintenance products.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of developers to install, configure, customize and integrate our CLM solutions for customers across the following industries, including aviation and aerospace manufacturing

Consult directly with customers to ensure project success, including:

Understanding requirements

Estimating project cost and timelines

Managing deliverables

Employ Agile/Test Driven Development (TDD) best practices

Write and test user stories

Work with developers to break down user stories into tasks

Write code to implement requirements in a TDD process

Assess developer productivity against timelines

Manage or delegate Continuous Integration environment

30% Travel

Qualifications:

Led software development teams before, ideally using Agile Scrum methodology

Experience in a consulting environment, balancing the competing priorities of customers, project management, and your development team

Ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels, from high-level project scope down to
details of individual class and API design

Developed Java based server side solutions such as JEE and Spring

Developed solutions using XML technologies such as XSLT, XSL-FO, XPath, XQuery

Experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, Spring Data, Docker, relational databases

Excellent oral and written communication skills

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
