Job Description
Position Summary
The principal responsibility of the Data Administrator is to maintain the security and integrity of the organization’s personnel data through the use of various data management systems.
You will be responsible for keeping databases accurate and up-to-date and will work closely with the HR Manager in coordinating necessary updates related to new hires and other changes in employee status.
This individual may also have the opportunity to work on special projects with other members of the finance group on an ad hoc basis.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and confident self-starter with strong organization and project management skills.
While experience in the corporate finance sector is preferable, we are seeking an organized person who can manage (and follow through with) various projects.
The ability to learn and effectively utilize new software systems quickly and thoroughly is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assistance to the HR Manager, IT team, and Finance team, especially with regard to the maintenance of employee data
Update and maintain the personnel section of the company website by adding bios and headshots and removing terminated employees, as instructed
Act as an administrator to Concur, the system used by the company for travel and expenses, adding new employees and assigning delegates and approvers to their profiles, and deactivating departed employees
Provide support to the HR Manager as needed with various tasks within Workday, the company’s HRIS
Assist in the creation, roll out, and maintenance of the company intranet
Oversee the accuracy of the firm’s active directory and e-mail distribution lists
Ad hoc assistance with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
1+ years of experience in a corporate environment preferred
Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel
Familiarity with Concur, Workday, and Sharepoint are a plus
Ability to quickly learn and implement software systems
