Job Description

CLOUD DATABASE ARCHITECT

Coppell, TX

Direct Hire: Base + Bonus

ICS has partnered with a Global firm to hire a Cloud Database Architect with strong Azure experience.

The Could Database Architect will be responsible for working on complex IT architecture projects with full competency and under limited supervision.

This is a highly visible role within our Client’s largest and most profitable division.

What You’ll Do:

Analyze user needs and existing requirements to determine additional architectural requirements

Understand the complexity of the current technical environment, then minimize it’s complexity while maximixing its’ value add

Analyze software behaviors and identify opportunities for improvement

Develop application code to satisfy product and architectural requirements, and modify existing software to correct errors or to improve its performance

Enhance and rearchitect current solutions for our Client’s consumer facing product

Coordinate the integration of proposed software changes with the staff and perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Experience You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or another related field

7+ years of relevant Information Technology and Architecture experience

Experience architecting, designing, and implementing RESTful, OData, and SOAP services and development frameworks, including frameworks and tools for developers

Experience conducting full-stack development utilizing Microsoft technology stacks and
cloud technologies, including Azure PaaS solutions

Experience developing front-end solutions for Desktop Browser, Mobile Web, Mobile Hybrid, and Mobile Native applications
